Race your chat.
You host. Your chat joins from the browser with a lobby code. Everyone gets the identical deal, and the leaderboard updates live.
Get the free demo on Steam See how it works ↓How it works
Open MSO FreeCell Arena (the free Steam demo), hit the Group Play button (the people icon in the toolbar), then Create a Lobby.
Put the screen on stream. The host pane shows the Lobby Code in big type and Join at msogames.com/join. When chat is in, hit Start Round. Late joiners are dealt in.
Chat goes to msogames.com/join, types the code and plays in the browser: no install, no account. Everyone races the same deal, a Race panel shows every player's progress, and the round ends on the leaderboard.
What chat sees
New to FreeCell? Four things worth knowing
Keep your free cells empty. The four open spots are your breathing room. Park a card there only when you can see how it comes back out.
Arrows show what's legal. Hint shows what wins. Stuck? Press H or the lightbulb. Host and chat both have it.
Chat waits on you. Players who finish early sit at "done" until you finish and hit Start Round again.
Too loud for your stream? Gear icon in the top bar → Settings → Game → Sound: drag the volume down, or tap the speaker to mute.
Good to know
- Does it cost anything?
- The demo is free on Steam, and chat plays free in the browser.
- Does chat need to install anything or sign up?
- No: a browser and the code. A reload mid-round puts them back in the same seat.
- How many can join one lobby?
- 200 by default. Expecting more? Email ahead and we raise it for your stream.
- Phones?
- Yes. iPhone Safari and Android Chrome both work, and the board fits a phone in portrait. Keep the tab open during the countdown: a tab left in the background for 90 seconds gives up its seat until it comes back.
- How long is a race?
- Three to six minutes, usually. Across every deal played on MSO so far, the median takes about three minutes on Easy and four to six on Medium and Hard. A round ends when the table is done, and the host can start the next one at once.
- Want me there?
- I'm happy to hop in and race your chat. Email [email protected].
